Lets call this one an Alpha

Not the fastest machine in the world, but just as quick as my last Alpha ( which still sits quietly in one corner of my flat back home ). Got Debian on this box for now, while I download and burn to CD the CentOS/alpha distro. That should go on in the next few days.
Now, anyone know where I can get some memory for this machine ? Cheap even ? The specifications for this machine say it can goto 1.5GB of ram. I'll settle for 1 Gig. And this might be the home for my TerraByte Storage as well.
Also, SRM is amazing. Its funny how we accept brain dead BIOS's on the PC, and have done so for so many years. Is it because the users just dont know beyond and it suits the manufacturers to just keep users in that state ?
