The Not-So-Secret History of 'Aeon Flux'

Permalink 05/Dec/2005 00:42 , Categories: Movies

I remember it was in the early 90's, late night MTV ( yes, the years when MTV actually was worth it ), seeing this show - Aeon Flux, and have quite fond memories of it. It was the craziest, funkiest and one of the most bizarre of all animated shows on TV at the time. Now, its going to be a movie!! yay! Cant wait to get into the Cinema's.

If you are unaware of Flux, check out this Not-So-Secret history of Aeon Flux :

Saw the movie last night - CRAP!! Avoid at all costs. This is what The New York Times had to say about the movie (I am quoting the last paragraph of the review):
"As it all approaches a hectic climax, Mr. Postlethwaite - whose role in this I will not even begin to try to explain - remarks, "I've been waiting 400 years for this day." I knew how he felt, though I'd only been there for an hour and a half."
I could not agree more.

Avi,

that is a real shocker!!!!

I was really really hoping that it would be a half decent watch. Guess I am still going to see it since its Aeon Flux...

Maybe they should just get back to the old Anime series again :)
