plus.net ADSL-Max speed issue
on the 13th Jun, I noticed that the adsl link speed seemed really really slow - and while my ADSL modem was syncing at 7200kbps, I was getting only 1400 - 1450kbps on downloads. A quick check against the plus.net website ( which, one hopes, would be the fastest / closest place to me ) confirmed this issue.
On the 14th, after about 24 hrs of the link being in that state, I opened a ticket with plus.net about the issue.
7 days later, I still await a reply as to what is going on.
There is, however, some good news. My downloads have gone upto 2600 - 2700kbps, while my modem is still syncing at greater than 6800kbps.

Plusnet have been inundated with various things to sort out and tickets raised in their system after they started to roll out the upgrade process. MY understanding is that this was caused by problems in BT's network and at the exchange...dsl max is new technology. However, they have now slowed down the upgrade process and caught up with their tickets by working overtime. Plusnet do have excellent customer services and I think this just got on top of them. If you are still with them you should find response times are back to the normal level now, within a few hours at the most.
