rsync access to centos.karan.org

Permalink 18/Jul/2006 02:40 , Categories: Software

A few people have now asked for it, and its finally working. You can get rsync access to centos.karan.org, but its limited access, I am not opening it upto public use as yet. All access is via login/passwd only!

Well, I dont want public mirrors, as yet. The main site hosting centos.karan.org runs off a Gigabit link to the Internet and has proven to be very reliable. And there is a hot backup that runs off dual 100mbit connections. And besides, no one has yet complained of slow speeds or access issues.

Having said this, who ever wants access to the rsync port will get access. All you need to do is email me and ask. Email details on the contact page.

Welcome to my Blog. Various bits of rambling and going-on's find their way here. If you have something to say, I would love to hear it from you.
