Areca drivers for CentOS-5

Permalink 26/Apr/2007 10:39 , Categories: Linux

Since so many people were asking for them, I've gone ahead and built the first centos-extras-drivers-disk for the Areca pci-x controllers ( support for which is missing in the stock CentOS / RHEL kernels ). You can get the testing drivers at http://www.karan.org/mock/centos/drivers/

Later in the week, there will be kmod's to handle kenel updates. And the best place to host these would be, imho, the CentOS-Extras repo ( http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5/extras/ )

Do report back with problems with these drivers. ( Issue Tracker: http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=1958. )

Welcome to my Blog. Various bits of rambling and going-on's find their way here. If you have something to say, I would love to hear it from you.
