Nintendo hardware shortage
So how does this work then....
Xmas is over and gone, most of the sales have now lost steam and most people are counting their debts. However, Nintendo still does not have *any* stock at all, for either the Wii or the DSLite consoles in the UK. I mean, did their factory just shut down or something ?
Most of the retail people ( like at Zavvi, Bluewater and a couple of people at TCR ) say that the last Nintendo console they sold was in early to mid December and there has been no stock at all since then. Surely there is something wierd going on here. Anyone know what that is ?

Perhaps they flew in some of their production runs before Christmas so now they've got to wait for their sea shipments to arrive.
Hence lots more available before Christmas - and nothing at all immediately after.

Unfortunately with the Wii having lots more available does not mean they are easy to find.
