ok, so trying to call a friend in Delhi .... and I get a message ( from MTNL, Delhi ) - "This facility is not available on your telephone". So.... ummm.. people in Delhi are being bar'ed from receiving international calls on their mobiles ?

Anyone ever used jmIRC ? It looks interesting, and since IRC itself is a very low bandwidth app, it would make much sense running native on the phone itself, rather than via a ssh session to a remote host.
